RCI stands for Respect, Courage, and Impact. We bring together businesses who improve outcomes for people. Further details about what we do can be found on our website.
2. Policies relating to slavery and human trafficking
RCI has implemented several policies that support our approach to modern slavery and human trafficking:
- Sustainable Purchasing Policy
- Supplier Code of Conduct
Individual divisions and businesses within RCI have internal policies that reinforce our commitment to eradicating modern slavery, such as:
- Freedom to Speak Up – Whistleblowing Policy
- Dignity and Respect Policy

3. Supply chains and due diligence
We require all suppliers to comply with our Sustainable Purchasing Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct. Compliance is monitored through our supplier management system, ensuring that our supply chain reflects our values and commitments.
As a result of the Group-wide supplier management system that is in place, businesses across the group can share suppliers due to the visibility and automated compliance checks.
4. Risk assessment and management
While RCI operates in highly regulated sectors and assesses the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in relation to our business activities as low, we are committed to continuous monitoring. We regularly review our supply chain practices and working conditions to ensure that any potential risks are identified and addressed promptly. - Percentage of suppliers compliant with the Supplier Code of Conduct
- Number of staff trained on modern slavery awareness
6. Training on modern slavery and trafficking
While we do not yet have dedicated training on modern slavery and human trafficking, it is addressed in our Group-wide Safer Recruitment training and individual businesses within RCI provide training on their whistleblowing policies, which includes guidance on how to raise questions or concerns regarding potential risks.
7. Commitment to continuous improvement
RCI is committed to continuously improving our practices and policies regarding modern slavery and human trafficking. We will actively seek feedback from employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders to enhance our approach.
